OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The running of a hostel by hostels under the Andhra Pradesh Education Act, 1982, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Agriculture Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh on the manner in which the running of a hostel by hostels is to be regulated under the Andhra Pradesh Education Act, 1982.

2. The matter has been examined. Every hostel carrying on the running of a hostel shall make an application in Form B to the Council within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a hostel is undertaken, and the Council shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Agriculture Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
