OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: The procurement of goods and services by procuring entities under the Gujarat Infrastructure Development Act, 1999, regarding.
1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Finance Department, Government of Gujarat on the manner in which the procurement of goods and services by procuring entities is to be regulated under the Gujarat Infrastructure Development Act, 1999.
2. The matter has been examined. Every procuring entity carrying on the procurement of goods and services shall make an application in Form GFR 21 to the Controller General of Accounts within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the procurement of goods and services is undertaken, and the Controller General of Accounts shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Gujarat.
