OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The conduct of court auctions by court auctioneers under the Uttar Pradesh Civil Laws (Reforms and Amendment) Act, 1954, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Ports Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh on the manner in which the conduct of court auctions by court auctioneers is to be regulated under the Uttar Pradesh Civil Laws (Reforms and Amendment) Act, 1954.

2. The matter has been examined. Every court auctioneer carrying on the conduct of court auctions shall make an application in Form B to the Registrar within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the conduct of court auctions is undertaken, and the Registrar shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Ports Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
