STANDING ORDER

To

All Tahsildars,

Subject: The holding of land by holders of land under the Rajasthan Land Revenue Act, 1956, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Rajasthan Land Revenue Act, 1956 (Rajasthan Act 15 of 1956), the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of Rajasthan hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the holding of land by holders of land.

2. The matter has been examined. Every holder of land carrying on the holding of land shall make an application in Form 7 to the Tahsildar within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. The Tahsildar shall ensure that land is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Tahsildar within ninety days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of Rajasthan.
