STANDING ORDER

All Charity Commissioners,

Subject: The running of a society by societies under the Andhra Pradesh Societies Registration Act, 2001, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Societies Registration Act, 2001 (Andhra Pradesh Act 35 of 2001), the Information Technology Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the running of a society by societies.

2. The matter has been examined. Every society carrying on the running of a society shall make an application in Form B to the Government of Andhra Pradesh within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. The Charity Commissioner shall ensure that scheme is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Government of Andhra Pradesh within ninety days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
