STANDING ORDER

All Secretaries of the Gram Panchayat,

Subject: The construction of a building in a village by owners of a building in a village under the Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1994, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1994 (Andhra Pradesh Act 13 of 1994), the Agriculture Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the construction of a building in a village by owners of a building in a village.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a building in a village carrying on the construction of a building in a village shall make an application in Form 3 to the Block Development Officer within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. The Secretary of the Gram Panchayat shall ensure that market is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Block Development Officer within thirty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Agriculture Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
