STANDING ORDER

To

All Press Registrars,

Subject: The broadcasting of programmes by broadcasters under the Andhra Pradesh Cinemas (Regulation) Act, 1955, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Cinemas (Regulation) Act, 1955 (Andhra Pradesh Act 4 of 1955), the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the broadcasting of programmes by broadcasters.

2. The matter has been examined. Every broadcaster carrying on the broadcasting of programmes shall make an application in Form I to the Government of Andhra Pradesh within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. The Press Registrar shall ensure that programme is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Government of Andhra Pradesh within thirty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
