OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The cultivation of land as tenant by tenants under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi on the manner in which the cultivation of land as tenant by tenants is to be regulated under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954.

2. The matter has been examined. Every tenant carrying on the cultivation of land as tenant shall make an application in Form 12 to the Tahsildar within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the cultivation of land as tenant is undertaken, and the Tahsildar shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
