OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The holding of a fair by licensees of a fair under the Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1994, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh on the manner in which the holding of a fair by licensees of a fair is to be regulated under the Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1994.

2. The matter has been examined. Every licensee of a fair carrying on the holding of a fair shall make an application in Form 1 to the Block Development Officer within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of a fair is undertaken, and the Block Development Officer shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
