OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The governance of a sport by national sports federations under the Goa, Daman and Diu Public Gambling Act, 1976, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of Goa on the manner in which the governance of a sport by national sports federations is to be regulated under the Goa, Daman and Diu Public Gambling Act, 1976.

2. The matter has been examined. Every national sports federation carrying on the governance of a sport shall make an application in Form A to the Government of Goa within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the governance of a sport is undertaken, and the Government of Goa shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of Goa.
