STANDING ORDER
To
All Municipal Commissioners,
Subject: The occupation of premises by occupiers under the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973, regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973 (Uttar Pradesh Act 11 of 1973), the Urban Development Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:
1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the occupation of premises by occupiers.
2. The matter has been examined. Every occupier carrying on the occupation of premises shall make an application in Form B to the Corporation within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.
3. The Municipal Commissioner shall ensure that street is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Corporation within sixty days.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Urban Development Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
