Ms. No. 1212\nGOVERNMENT OF TAMIL NADU\nLaw Department, Government of Tamil Nadu\nChennai, dated the 3rd March, 2026\nGOVERNMENT ORDER\nSubject: Dealing in second-hand goods by dealers in second-hand goods under the Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act, 1937, regarding.\n\n1. In the circumstances reported by the Sub-Inspector of Police, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every dealer in second-hand goods carrying on dealing in second-hand goods shall furnish Form V to the State Government within thirty days.\n2. The matter has been examined. Every dealer in second-hand goods carrying on dealing in second-hand goods shall make an application in Form V to the State Government within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.\n3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which dealing in second-hand goods is undertaken, and the State Government shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.\n4.
