References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the execution of contracts by contractors.\n2. The matter has been examined. Every contractor carrying on the execution of contracts shall make an application in Form GFR 40 to the Directorate of Treasuries within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.\n3. The Budget Officer shall ensure that sanction order is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Directorate of Treasuries within sixty days.\n4.
