References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the manufacture of denatured spirit by manufacturers of denatured spirit.\n2. The matter has been examined. Every manufacturer of denatured spirit carrying on the manufacture of denatured spirit shall make an application in Form A to the Government of West Bengal within seven days, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees.\n3. The Excise Officer shall ensure that cask is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Government of West Bengal within seven days.\n4.
