References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the keeping of a shop in a village market by shopkeepers in a village market.\n2. The matter has been examined. Every shopkeeper in a village market carrying on the keeping of a shop in a village market shall make an application in Form 8 to the Panchayat Samiti within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.\n3. The Panchayat Inspector shall ensure that licence is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Panchayat Samiti within fifteen days.\n4.
