References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the holding of land by landholders.\n2. The matter has been examined. Every landholder carrying on the holding of land shall make an application in Form 3 to the Tahsildar within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.\n3. The Patwari shall ensure that patta is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Tahsildar within one hundred and twenty days.\n4.
