References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the leasing of a village tank by lessees of a village tank.\n2. The matter has been examined. Every lessee of a village tank carrying on the leasing of a village tank shall make an application in Form 1 to the Block Development Officer within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.\n3. The Extension Officer shall ensure that licence is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Block Development Officer within fifteen days.\n4.
