References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the conversion of agricultural land to non-agricultural use by person converting agricultural lands.\n2. The matter has been examined. Every person converting agricultural land carrying on the conversion of agricultural land to non-agricultural use shall make an application in Form 2 to the Land Tribunal within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.\n3. The Naib Tahsildar shall ensure that certificate of occupancy is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Land Tribunal within sixty days.\n4.
