References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the sinking of a well on Government land by owners of a well on Government land.\n2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a well on Government land carrying on the sinking of a well on Government land shall make an application in Form 14 to the Collector within one hundred and eighty days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.\n3. The Revenue Inspector shall ensure that khasra is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Collector within one hundred and eighty days.\n4.
