References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the sinking of a well on Government land by owners of a well on Government land.\n2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a well on Government land carrying on the sinking of a well on Government land shall make an application in Form 12 to the Revenue Divisional Officer within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.\n3. The Patwari shall ensure that mutation is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Revenue Divisional Officer within ninety days.\n4.
