References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the operation of a ferry by operators of a ferry.\n2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a ferry carrying on the operation of a ferry shall make an application in Form 2 to the District Panchayat within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.\n3. The Extension Officer shall ensure that demand notice is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the District Panchayat within fourteen days.\n4.
