References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the possession of land by persons in possession of land.\n2. The matter has been examined. Every person in possession of land carrying on the possession of land shall make an application in Form 5 to the Board of Revenue within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.\n3. The Surveyor shall ensure that khasra is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Board of Revenue within thirty days.\n4.
