References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the holding of allotted surplus land by allottees of surplus land.\n2. The matter has been examined. Every allottee of surplus land carrying on the holding of allotted surplus land shall make an application in Form 8 to the State Government within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.\n3. The Patwari shall ensure that certificate of occupancy is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the State Government within forty-five days.\n4.
