References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the keeping of a village shop by keepers of a village shop.\n2. The matter has been examined. Every keeper of a village shop carrying on the keeping of a village shop shall make an application in Form 7 to the Gram Panchayat within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.\n3. The Block Development Officer shall ensure that demand notice is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Gram Panchayat within fourteen days.\n4.
