References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the keeping of a bonded warehouse by bonded warehouse keepers.\n2. The matter has been examined. Every bonded warehouse keeper carrying on the keeping of a bonded warehouse shall make an application in Form D to the Deputy Commissioner of Excise within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.\n3. The Assistant Commissioner of Excise shall ensure that still is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Deputy Commissioner of Excise within forty-five days.\n4.
