References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the sinking of a well on Government land by owners of a well on Government land.\n2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a well on Government land carrying on the sinking of a well on Government land shall make an application in Form 2 to the Land Tribunal within seven days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.\n3. The Village Accountant shall ensure that land revenue receipt is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Land Tribunal within seven days.\n4.
