References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the cultivation of land as tenant by tenants.\n2. The matter has been examined. Every tenant carrying on the cultivation of land as tenant shall make an application in Form 2 to the Tahsildar within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.\n3. The Circle Officer shall ensure that certificate of occupancy is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Tahsildar within fifteen days.\n4.
