References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the holding of allotted surplus land by allottees of surplus land.\n2. The matter has been examined. Every allottee of surplus land carrying on the holding of allotted surplus land shall make an application in Form 14 to the Revenue Divisional Officer within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.\n3. The Deputy Tahsildar shall ensure that register of holdings is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Revenue Divisional Officer within ninety days.\n4.
