References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the cultivation of land as tenant by tenants.\n2. The matter has been examined. Every tenant carrying on the cultivation of land as tenant shall make an application in Form 2 to the State Government within one hundred and eighty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.\n3. The Patwari shall ensure that demand notice is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the State Government within one hundred and eighty days.\n4.
