References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the keeping of a village shop by keepers of a village shop.\n2. The matter has been examined. Every keeper of a village shop carrying on the keeping of a village shop shall make an application in Form 1 to the Director of Panchayats within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.\n3. The Panchayat Development Officer shall ensure that building is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Director of Panchayats within forty-five days.\n4.
