References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the operation of a dam in an emergency by operators of a dam.\n2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a dam carrying on the operation of a dam in an emergency shall make an application in Form E to the Relief Commissioner within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.\n3. The Emergency Officer shall ensure that fire safety certificate is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Relief Commissioner within fifteen days.\n4.
