References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the cultivation of land as tenant by tenants.\n2. The matter has been examined. Every tenant carrying on the cultivation of land as tenant shall make an application in Form 3 to the Collector within one hundred and eighty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.\n3. The Village Accountant shall ensure that patta is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Collector within one hundred and eighty days.\n4.
