References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the taking of a mortgage of agricultural land by mortgagees of agricultural land.\n2. The matter has been examined. Every mortgagee of agricultural land carrying on the taking of a mortgage of agricultural land shall make an application in Form 5 to the Board of Revenue within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.\n3. The Tahsildar shall ensure that survey number is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Board of Revenue within fifteen days.\n4.
