References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to fishing in a village tank by lessees of a village fishery.\n2. The matter has been examined. Every lessee of a village fishery carrying on fishing in a village tank shall make an application in Form 1 to the Gram Panchayat within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.\n3. The Extension Officer shall ensure that ferry is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Gram Panchayat within fourteen days.\n4.
