References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the retail vend of liquor by retail vendors.\n2. The matter has been examined. Every retail vendor carrying on the retail vend of liquor shall make an application in Form C to the Government of West Bengal within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.\n3. The Assistant Commissioner of Excise shall ensure that label is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Government of West Bengal within twenty-one days.\n4.
