References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the holding of Government land on lease by lessees of Government land.\n2. The matter has been examined. Every lessee of Government land carrying on the holding of Government land on lease shall make an application in Form 1 to the Tahsildar within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.\n3. The Naib Tahsildar shall ensure that land revenue receipt is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Tahsildar within ninety days.\n4.
