References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the taking of a mortgage of agricultural land by mortgagees of agricultural land.\n2. The matter has been examined. Every mortgagee of agricultural land carrying on the taking of a mortgage of agricultural land shall make an application in Form 5 to the Sub-Divisional Officer within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.\n3. The Circle Officer shall ensure that holding is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Sub-Divisional Officer within thirty days.\n4.
