References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the survey of land by licensed surveyors.\n2. The matter has been examined. Every licensed surveyor carrying on the survey of land shall make an application in Form 12 to the Settlement Officer within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.\n3. The Naib Tahsildar shall ensure that patta is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Settlement Officer within thirty days.\n4.
