References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the running of a rice mill in a village by operators of a rice mill in a village.\n2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a rice mill in a village carrying on the running of a rice mill in a village shall make an application in Form 7 to the Block Development Officer within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.\n3. The Panchayat Development Officer shall ensure that assessment register is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Block Development Officer within fourteen days.\n4.
