References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the cultivation of hemp under licence by cultivators of hemp.\n2. The matter has been examined. Every cultivator of hemp carrying on the cultivation of hemp under licence shall make an application in Form A to the District Excise Officer within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.\n3. The Circle Inspector of Excise shall ensure that cask is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the District Excise Officer within thirty days.\n4.
