References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the cultivation of land as a sharecropper by sharecroppers.\n2. The matter has been examined. Every sharecropper carrying on the cultivation of land as a sharecropper shall make an application in Form 12 to the Settlement Officer within seven days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.\n3. The Circle Officer shall ensure that demand notice is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Settlement Officer within seven days.\n4.
